2006, after previously working as a civil servant went to university in 2000 to study law.

What’s your background?

Civil servant for 6 years, airline cabin crew for 7 years, then university in 2000 as a mature student, qualified in 2006 after training at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.

What areas of law do you specialise in?

Commercial property, all areas and commercial property finance. It was the most interesting of my trainee seat rotations and the area of law where I was able to get most involved.

Career highlights

Drafted the property aspects of the Sale and Purchase Agreement for the purchase by the Qatari Investment Authority of the Harrods Group; and worked on a bond issue for Manchester United football club
