Where are you from?

Susan is from Sutton in Surrey, she is qualified in the UK.

When did you qualify as a lawyer and why?

Susan qualified in 2012. Her desire to qualify was a combination of her interest in the law and to help clients with their legal issues at difficult times.

What’s your background?

I started in the legal profession as a secretary at the age of 19. I studied law with CILEX whilst working at a law firm. I gained a wealth of knowledge from experienced solicitors and their clients. I qualified as a solicitor in 2012 after completing the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Guildford. I worked in the Conveyancing and Private Client Department.  I am a member of STEP and I have achieved advanced Certificates in the Administration of Estates and Administration of Trusts

I qualified as a teacher in 2014 and I have taught for CILEX and the University of Law.

Which areas of law do you specialise in and why?

Susan specialises in Wills, Probate, Trusts, and Lasting Powers of Attorney.

She knows how difficult it can be to deal with a loved one’s estate and is there for clients every step of the way breaking down the complicated process.
